Having trained as a Counselling Psychologist, my research interests are broadly focused on counselling and psychotherapy practice and mental health and wellbeing. I have a particular interest in relationship functioning for couples and families and the therapy experiences of stigmatized populations.
Current research projects include: healthcare for trans and nonbinary adults, infidelity and intimacy in online spaces, embryo donation for family building (a form of donor conception), perceptions of mental health in a work context and outcomes of couple counselling in a large community sample, and the qualitative story completion method.
