Evidence suggests at least two further readers: J. Marshall and J. Halkerston.
There are a number of items, (mainly legal), in the collection, which were previously owned by J. Halkerston, some annotated. They in turn have a number of different previous owners but all appear to be from the local area. Evidence suggests that the books were annotated before coming into Erskine hands.
