Gerald William Bullett (1893-1958) was at the time an editor of the Weekend Review and later worked for the BBC. He wrote fantasy stories, novels, essays, criticism, and poems. The titles above are those published in 1923 and 1924 and were his second and third works. Ford was in France, mostly but not exclusively in Paris, for most of these two years.
