I think the book I have named is most likely to be the one to which Hodgson is referring, but it is possible one of these two other books is meant: Margaret Brooke, Rani of Sarawak, My Life in Sarawak (London: Methuen 1913); Gladys Brooke, Dayang Muda of Sarawak, Relations & Complications (London: John Lane 1929).
