V.II has a MS chronology on pastedown and endpaper, giving the dates of Bonaparte's movements in April and May 1796. Notes incl. translations of French words, and comments e.g., by a footnote on a letter published in Le Moniteur "dont l'authenticite nous pariat fort suspecte", he writes: "rather!"
