'Then I became seized with a desire to know something about religion, and I read the commandments over and over again, as well as those portions of the Bible which I could understand. I was particularly struck with the words: "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour and do all that thou hast to do; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.
